MUSIC / CHOIR
The choirs enhance the liturgical celebrations by leading the music ministry at the Masses, through hymns and songs that will ensure the “full, conscious, and active participation in the liturgical celebration”. The whole church community benefits from participating in the Eucharist through prayerful music. There are two choirs at Holy Trinity.
On Sunday morning the Mass is commonly called “The Folk Mass”, and implements a more contemporary style of music, which relies heavily on the blue “Glory and Praise” hymnal. Accompaniment is typically guitar, with bass, flute, clarinet, saxophone, etc.
The Saturday afternoon Mass is more traditional, and often relies on hymns from our Breaking Bread Missalette. Accompaniment is from the Church’s Clavinova piano.
Both Choirs are open to singers of all ages!
