What is Divine Mercy Sunday?
It is a Day designated by Jesus where Jesus has promised the extraordinary grace of COMPLETE FORGIVENESS of sins and punishment. In order to receive this grace one needs to go to confession before the feast and receive Holy Communion on Divine Mercy Sunday with the intention of obtaining the promised grace. We can prepare by doing acts of mercy such as forgiving people, praying for others and being more merciful to our neighbors. Information explaining more and how to prepare for Divine Mercy Sunday is attached. As a parish beginning on Good Friday we will be saying the Novena of Divine Mercy and the Chaplet in preparation for the feast. Instructions for the Novena and Chaplet are attached.
