About this Event

Our 2024 Adult Faith Formation Class will begin on Sunday, October 1st, after the 10:00 Mass.  This year we will be participating in a “retreat”, entitled “Jesus of Nazareth: Our guide to Living in a Post-Modern World”.  This will consist of a series of short reflections on the life of Jesus, as a first century Palestinian Jew, living in a Hostile and dysfunctional world.  A world where the ruling authorities are often hostile to, or indifferent to, God and the faith of the local community. A religious community where the established church often seems preoccupied with worldly matters, rather than spiritual truths.  A world where wealth and position are often seen as the metrics of success and spirituality.  Sound familiar? 

By examining The Man Jesus - His Life, teachings, human qualities, and personality, we can aspire to live as He lived, thus fulfilling God’s desire for our lives.
